Announcement of FSSC 22000 version 5 Upgrade Audits

FSSC 22000 VERSION 5 UPGRADE AUDITS
Among key private standards such as BRC certification, GLOBAL GAP certification,

FSSC 22000 is one of the key private standard labels playing a dominant role in the importation of fresh produce into global food markets. Quality and reliable fresh produce suppliers worldwide as well as other providers in food chains adopt them for tracking and ensuring food safety, traceability, country of origin, environmental issues.Currently, FSSC 22000 has been in a transition of an upgraded status from FSSC 22000 V4.1 to FSSC 22000 V5. The main aims of FSSC 22000 V5 are to introduce ISO 22000:2018 standard, to announce the Board of Stakeholders as decision makers, to comply with GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) requirements and to conduct continual improvement process.

For auditing purposes, followings are key adjustments for the new version :
Audits against the FSSC 22000 Scheme requirements V4.1 are only allowed latest December 31st of 2019.
All issued rules, regulations and requirements from FSSC 22000 V4.1 will become invalid after 29 June 2021.
In May 2019, FSSC 22000 V5 will become available.
FSSC 22000 V5 shall be conducted between 1st January 2020 and 31st December 2020.
